Naše partnerská organizace International Campaign for Tibet Germany (Německo) udělila v sobotu 15. října 2022 při slavnostní ceremonii v Berlíně lidskoprávní cenu Sněžný lev (Schnee Löwe) za mimořádné příspěvky v oblasti politiky, společnosti a kultury ve vztahu k Tibetu a Číně, Východnímu Turkestánu (Sin-ťiangu), Jižnímu Mongolsku, Hongkongu nebo Tchaj-wanu. Letošní ocenění si odnesl Dr. Adrian Zenz, který svým průkopnickým výzkumem již řadu let pomáhá odhalovat závažné zločiny páchané na Ujgurech a Tibeťanech a dále Tibetský filmový festival v Curychu, který od roku 2008 představuje tibetské filmaře a pomáhá tak zviditelňovat mnohovrstevnaté aspekty ohrožené tibetské kultury. Bylo nám ctí být u toho. Oceněným gratulujeme a ICT Germany děkujeme za jejich skvělou práci. 

On Saturday 15 October 2022, our partner organisation International Campaign for Tibet Germany awarded the human rights prize Schnee Löwe (Snow Lion) for outstanding contributions in the fields of politics, society and culture in relation to Tibet and China, East Turkestan (Xinjiang), Southern Mongolia, Hong Kong or Taiwan at a ceremony in Berlin. This year’s award went to Dr. Adrian Zenz, whose pioneering research has for many years helped to expose serious crimes against Uyghurs and Tibetans, as well as the Zurich Tibetan Film Festival, which since 2008 has been showcasing Tibetan filmmakers and helped to raise the awareness of the many facets of the critically endangered Tibetan culture. We were honoured to be there. Congratulations to the laureates and thanks to ICT Germany for their outstanding work.
